Tour Overview

Dubai · Abu Dhabi · Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque — 5 Nights

A Dubai and Abu Dhabi tour package from India that runs six days and five nights from a single central base, built around the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, a morning desert safari and Old Dubai's Creek and souks. Abu Dhabi is a full-day trip for the mosque, about 1 hr 30 min each way, rather than a second hotel stay. It is a land package, so your international flight is booked separately. Best enjoyed from November to March, when Dubai's weather is at its kindest. Tell us your travel dates, and we will build the quote around them.

Itinerary — day by day

DAY 01

Arrive Dubai, settle into the old town

Airport pickup - Bur Dubai / Deira - free evening
DUBAI
old Dubai Creek
ARRIVAL
Private car meets you at Dubai airport and runs you to the hotel, about 15 to 30 min.
CHECK-IN
The old town puts you on the metro and walking distance of the Creek.
EVENING
Walk Al Seef's restored creek-front, or ride to the Dubai Fountain - both free.
Hotels

Dubai, 3-Star Central

5 nights - Breakfast - Bur Dubai or Deira

  • One base, five nights A central 3-star double room with a double bed and breakfast, priced per person, two adults to the room. You unpack once and stay put.
  • Position Bur Dubai or Deira, walking distance of the Creek, the souks and the abra, and on the metro for everywhere else. It is the lowest central room rate in the city, which is how the headline stays low.
  • Meals here Breakfast every morning. No dinner is included on any night of this package. Lunch and dinner are yours to choose, and Dubai is full of vegetarian and Indian options.
  • Being straight with you Dubai room rates swing hard with the season. Winter is peak and dearest, which is also the best weather - we quote the real figure for your dates rather than a headline that moves under you.
Transfers

Dubai Airport to the Hotel

Private car, about 15 to 30 min

  • Private car on arrival Met at Dubai airport and driven to your Bur Dubai or Deira hotel, about 15 to 30 min depending on traffic. In Dubai a private car is cheap enough that it beats dragging bags through the metro.
  • One leg, no change The hotel is central, so there is no second transfer on arrival night.
  • Timing The car is timed to your flight landing. A late-night arrival is fine; the driver tracks the flight.
Activities

Morning Desert Safari (Included)

Dune bashing - camel ride - sandboarding

  • What it is A morning run into the dunes for dune bashing in a 4x4, a camel ride and sandboarding, about four hours door to door, back in the city by lunch.
  • Why morning, not evening Cooler sand, better light and a free evening afterwards. The evening safari is the one sold with a BBQ dinner at a camp - this one is not.
  • No meal, and that is deliberate No meal, and that is deliberate: No Atravelq package includes a dinner. The morning safari carries no meal, so the rule holds without a workaround.
  • Want the camp instead The evening safari with a BBQ, falconry and a show is available as a paid add-on. Say so at enquiry and we quote it.

DAY 02

Morning desert safari, then the fountain

Dune bashing - camels - Downtown in the evening
DUBAI
A 4x4 cresting a red dune on a morning safari, long shadows
EVENING
Head to Downtown for the Dubai Fountain show and the mall promenade, both free.
EARLY PICKUP
Out to the dunes for dune bashing, a camel ride and sandboarding, about four hours.
WHY MORNING
Cooler sand, softer light for photos, and you are back in the city by lunch.
Hotels

Downtown or Marina, and 4-Star

Quoted before you pay - requested, never promised

  • Move to Downtown The Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Mall on your doorstep, the fountain a walk away. The jump in rate is real and we quote it rather than printing it, because it moves with the season.
  • Or the Marina and JBR A beach, a promenade and the evening buzz, with the Palm close by. Better for couples who want the waterfront rather than the old town.
  • Room requests A higher floor, a quiet side, a double bed rather than two singles, a late check-out on the last morning. All passed to the property as requests, none confirmed in advance, and we will not tell you otherwise.
  • How this works Any upgrade raises the package price and we show you the new total, not a headline that stays the same.
Transfers

Abu Dhabi and the City Tours

Shared coach, guided - Abu Dhabi about 1 hr 30 min

  • Abu Dhabi day An air-conditioned shared coach with a guide, about 1 hr 30 min each way, with the Grand Mosque entry included in the tour.
  • Dubai city tour The half-day new-Dubai tour also runs on a shared coach with a guide, picking up from near the hotel.
  • Prefer a private car Prefer a private car: Both tour days can run as a private car instead, priced on request. Worth it for a family wanting their own pace.
Activities

Abu Dhabi and the Grand Mosque (Included)

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque - Corniche

  • Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque White-marble halls, the vast main prayer hall and a reflecting courtyard, with entry and a dress-code abaya arranged for you.
  • The rest of the day The Corniche seafront, a photo stop at Emirates Palace and the Heritage Village, on a full-day shared coach.
  • The entry fee The mosque introduced a small visitor fee in September 2026, which the tour covers. Guided cultural tours inside remain free to join.
  • Add if you like Louvre Abu Dhabi or Qasr Al Watan can be added to this day as a paid extra, priced on request.

MORNING, SELF-GUIDED
Al Fahidi's wind-tower lanes, then a one-dirham abra ride across the Creek.

Why There Is No Attraction Pass Here

We priced it - on this route it loses money

  • What we checked The Dubai attraction combo passes - the Go Dubai and iVenture type - against the handful of paid entries this itinerary actually uses.
  • It loses This route uses only the Frame, the safari and two tours, and the mosque admission sits inside the Abu Dhabi tour. The pass is built for people doing the big towers and parks one after another, so on this culture-led route it costs more than it saves.
  • Where it flips Add Burj Khalifa, the aquarium and Atlantis in a few days and a pass can start to pay. If you want that kind of trip, ask us to re-run the sums rather than assuming.
  • Getting around A Nol card covers the metro, tram and abra cheaply for your free days; the included tours carry their own transport.
Activities

What You Walk To, for Nothing

Old Dubai, the fountain and the Corniche

  • Old Dubai Al Fahidi's wind-tower lanes, the Gold and Spice souks, and the one-dirham abra across the Creek. Browsing and crossing cost almost nothing.
  • Downtown The Dubai Fountain show runs every evening for free, with the mall promenade and the Burj Khalifa above it.
  • Abu Dhabi The Corniche seafront on the mosque day is free to walk, as is the view across to Emirates Palace.
  • Why this matters to the price So much of Dubai and Abu Dhabi is free that a five-night trip can carry one city card's worth of content on very few paid tickets. Adding paid attractions is what breaks it.

What You Can Add, and What It Costs You

Each one priced in your quotation, not here

  • Burj Khalifa At The Top The 124th and 125th floor decks, the icon most first-timers want. A non-peak slot is cheaper and quieter than the sunset hours. Fits the free afternoon on Day 5.
  • Evening desert safari with BBQ The night-camp version with a buffet, falconry and a show. It carries a dinner, so it is a paid add-on rather than part of the base package.
  • A dhow dinner cruise A traditional wooden boat along the Creek or the Marina with dinner aboard. Again a dinner, so again an add-on, priced on request.
  • How add-ons work Louvre Abu Dhabi, Atlantis Aquaventure, The View at The Palm and more can be added too. Every figure is per person and confirmed in writing before you pay, and adding one raises the total we show you.

Visual journey

Why this route works

Culture carries the trip, not just the skyline
The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and old Dubai's creek are what this trip is built on, and both are nearly free to see - mosque entry is a token tour-operator fee and the abra across the water is one dirham. That free layer lets the days stay full while the headline stays low, instead of leaning on expensive towers to justify the price. Abu Dhabi is a day trip for the mosque, not a second hotel, which keeps a night off the bill.
A morning in the desert, not a late camp night
Almost every Dubai safari is sold with a BBQ dinner at a night camp. We put the safari in the morning instead - the same dune bashing, camel ride and sandboarding, cooler sand and better light, and you are back in the city by lunch with the evening free. It also keeps the package honest to the no-dinner rule: a morning safari carries no meal. The evening BBQ camp and a dhow dinner cruise stay as paid add-ons for anyone who wants them.
One base, few paid tickets
Five nights in one central hotel, two guided city tours and the Dubai Frame - and the expensive icons kept optional. Dubai sells combo attraction passes, but they are built for people doing the big towers and parks one after another. We priced a pass against the handful of paid entries this itinerary actually uses, and for a culture-led route it costs more than it saves, so we buy individual tickets and keep Burj Khalifa and the rest as add-ons you choose.

Full policy details

Cancellation Policy
  • 10 or more calendar days before departure: a 30% cancellation charge applies to the eligible package amount. Choose a 70% refund in USDC or 100% of the eligible amount as Atravelx Travel Credit.
  • Less than 10 calendar days before departure: 100% non-refundable. No refund or Travel Credit is ordinarily issued.
  • After travel commences, or no-show: non-refundable. No refund or Travel Credit is ordinarily available.
  • Days are counted as calendar days to the scheduled departure date, in UTC (Coordinated Universal Time). The timestamp on your written request fixes when Atravelx received it.
  • Cancellation requests must be made in writing through an authorised Atravelx channel: your concierge, info@atravelx.com or WhatsApp +91 92500 00511. A phone call alone does not cancel a booking until it is confirmed in writing.
  • Quote the booking reference, the lead traveller's name and the services affected. Atravelx may ask for identity or payment verification before acting on a request.
  • A reason is not needed to qualify under the 10-day window.
  • Cancelling some travellers, rooms, nights or services is a package amendment, not a cancellation. It does not qualify for the 10-day refund or credit on its own, and it can change the per-person price for the remaining travellers.
Atravelx Travel Credit
  • Travel Credit is issued as an Atravelx Credit Note for 100% of the eligible amount actually paid, denominated in USDC.
  • The 30% cancellation charge is waived when you choose Travel Credit instead of a refund.
  • Credit can be used towards any eligible service booked through Atravelx: holiday packages, stays, flights, transfers, sightseeing, car rental, visa assistance and other eligible services.
  • Travel Credit is non-cash. It cannot be withdrawn, exchanged for cryptocurrency or fiat currency, or transferred to another person, unless Atravelx agrees in writing.
  • The validity period and expiry date are stated on the Credit Note.
  • Prices at the time of the new booking apply. Travel Credit does not hold the same hotel, room, destination, dates, itinerary, supplier, activity, package or price.
  • If the new booking costs more, you pay the difference in USDC. If it costs less, the balance stays on the Credit Note under its terms.
  • Once you choose Travel Credit, the choice is final. It is not later converted into a refund.
Date Change Policy
  • Request date changes 10 or more calendar days before the scheduled departure date.
  • A date change is not guaranteed. It depends on hotel, transfer and activity availability, supplier approval, revised room rates, seasonal pricing, blackout dates, peak-season supplements, transport costs, fare differences, supplier amendment charges and revised itinerary costs.
  • If the revised package costs more, you pay the difference in USDC. Supplier amendment or date-change charges may also apply.
  • A date change is confirmed only when Atravelx confirms the revised arrangements in writing.
  • Requests made less than 10 calendar days before departure depend on supplier approval and cannot be guaranteed.
  • A postponement or date change is not a cancellation. It does not by itself create a refund or Travel Credit entitlement.
Bundled Holiday Packages
  • Atravelx holiday packages are booked and priced as bundled travel arrangements made up of several interconnected services.
  • Individual components of a confirmed package cannot ordinarily be cancelled separately.
  • Removing a service does not automatically entitle you to a proportionate refund or Travel Credit.
  • Any request to remove, replace or modify a component is treated as a package amendment, subject to supplier approval, availability, revised pricing, amounts recoverable and applicable charges.
  • A value shown against an individual service does not mean it was separately contracted or can be independently cancelled.
Visa & Travel Documentation
  • Travellers are responsible for a valid passport, the right visa, transit visas, entry permits, immigration documents, health documentation and any other paperwork required by the destination or a transit country.
  • Visa decisions are made solely by the relevant government, embassy, consulate or immigration authority. Atravelx does not guarantee approval, processing time or appointment availability.
  • A visa refusal, delay or failure to obtain a visa does not override the cancellation conditions unless Atravelx confirms otherwise in writing.
  • Government, embassy, visa application centre, biometric, courier and processing fees may be non-refundable once paid or submitted.
Refund Processing & Timeline
  • Atravelx acknowledges a cancellation request within 2 working days. Acknowledgement confirms receipt, not eligibility or amount. After reviewing the booking, Atravelx confirms in writing which services are cancelled, the refundable and non-refundable components, the deductions and the refund amount.
  • Approved refunds are processed within 45 working days from the date Atravelx confirms in writing that the refund is approved.
  • The 45 days do not run from the booking date, the date you first asked to cancel, or the departure date.
  • Working days exclude Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays in the United States and India.
  • Refunds are calculated and paid in USDC. The refund is the eligible package amount in USDC as shown on your invoice, less the cancellation charge and any supplier deductions.
  • If you paid in another cryptocurrency, the refund is still the USDC value of the eligible amount at the time of payment, not the number of coins you sent. Atravelx is not liable for changes in the market value of any coin between payment and refund.
  • Refunds are sent to the wallet address the payment came from, on the same network. If that is not possible, you may nominate another wallet, which Atravelx verifies in writing before sending. Atravelx is not responsible for funds sent to a wallet address you supplied incorrectly.
  • If you paid by card or bank transfer through an Atravelx payment partner, the refund goes back to that payment method where the partner supports it. Otherwise another method is agreed in writing.
  • Blockchain confirmations, payment partners, card issuers and banks may add time before the funds show in your wallet or account.
  • Where Atravelx cancels a confirmed booking for reasons within its reasonable control, all amounts received for the cancelled services are refunded in full, initiated within 7 working days. An alternative itinerary or Travel Credit may be offered, but you are not required to accept it instead of the refund.
  • An approved refund is not replaced with Travel Credit unless you expressly agree, or the supplier itself provides only a credit or voucher under conditions disclosed before booking.
Supplier-Specific & Non-Refundable Services
  • Certain services carry their own cancellation, refund or amendment terms: airline tickets, visa fees, embassy, consulate and visa-centre charges, travel insurance, rail tickets and passes, cruise and ferry bookings, event, concert, sports and attraction tickets, special-event bookings, non-refundable hotel rates, supplier deposits and any service identified as non-refundable.
  • Where supplier-specific conditions were communicated in the quotation, invoice, voucher, booking confirmation or service conditions before payment, those conditions apply to that service.
  • Blockchain network fees paid when you sent your payment are not part of the package amount and are not refundable.
No-Show, Unused & Partially Used Services
  • No refund or Travel Credit is ordinarily provided for: no-shows, cancellation after travel has commenced, voluntarily unused services, partly completed holidays, missed hotel nights, missed transfers, missed activities or sightseeing, missed trains or other transport, traveller delays, failure to report at the required time, services missed because of documentation issues, or services missed for reasons attributable to the traveller.
  • If a supplier voluntarily approves a refund in an exceptional case, Atravelx passes on the recoverable amount in USDC under the applicable supplier and booking conditions.
Booking Acceptance
  • By confirming a booking and making payment, you accept the cancellation, refund, date-change, bundled-package and Travel Credit conditions in this policy.
  • Conditions stated in writing for an individual booking (quotation, invoice, voucher or booking confirmation) supplement this policy. Where a supplier's terms are stricter and were disclosed before payment, they apply to that service.
  • A booking is governed by the version of this policy shown on the package page on the booking date, unless a later version is more favourable to you or Atravelx agrees otherwise in writing.
  • For events beyond Atravelx's reasonable control (severe weather, natural disasters, epidemics, war, civil unrest, strikes, government restrictions, border or airport closures, supplier insolvency and similar), refunds, credits, postponements or alternatives depend on the affected supplier's policy and the amounts recoverable. Atravelx helps coordinate with the suppliers.
  • Nothing in this policy restricts any statutory right available to a consumer under applicable law.

Frequently asked questions

Is Abu Dhabi a day trip from Dubai?
Yes. Abu Dhabi is usually planned as a full-day tour from Dubai with approximately 1.5 to 2 hours driving each way depending on traffic and hotel location.
Is Grand Mosque entry included?
The visit is included, but final access is subject to operating rules, religious events and dress-code compliance.
Can Ferrari World or Warner Bros be added?
Yes. Theme park tickets can be added, but the Abu Dhabi day may need to be extended or redesigned.
Are flights included?

No. This is a land package - hotel, transfers, tours and the listed entries only. You book your own international flights, or ask us to quote them separately for your city and dates. The figure on this page covers the five nights with breakfast, the private airport transfers, the morning desert safari, the Abu Dhabi day with the Grand Mosque, the Dubai city tour, the Dubai Frame, taxes and GST - everything on the ground in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Is any dinner included

No. Daily breakfast only - no lunch and no dinner on any day. This is deliberate and the same across every Atravelq package. The desert safari is the morning option, which includes no meals, rather than the evening version that comes with a BBQ. If you want an evening safari with a camp dinner, or a dhow dinner cruise, we add it as a paid upgrade and show you the new total.

Are the hotels confirmed and named?

No - the stay is shown as the 3-star category, and we book in the central Bur Dubai or Deira area, not a held booking. Your actual hotel is named in your quotation before you pay anything. If the property we want is unavailable, we move you to a similar-tier alternative in the same area and tell you before you pay, not after. Dubai rates swing hard with the season, and winter - the best weather - is also the peak, so we quote the real figure for your dates.

Is vegetarian and Jain food easy to find?

Very. Dubai, and Bur Dubai in particular, is full of Indian restaurants, including pure-veg and Jain kitchens, and most hotels and malls also have familiar options. You will not struggle for a meal anywhere on this route, near the hotel or the souks. If you are strictly Jain or need no onion and garlic, tell us at enquiry, and we will note the hotel and send you a shortlist rather than leaving you to find out on the trip.

What should we wear at the Grand Mosque?

Modest dress is required for everyone - shoulders and knees covered. Women receive a free abaya at the gate if needed, and men should wear long trousers. The mosque is closed to tourist visits on Friday mornings, which is why the Abu Dhabi day is planned around it. Beyond the mosque, Dubai is relaxed about dress, though the older districts and the souks are more comfortable in modest clothing and a hat against the sun.

How much walking is there, and will it suit our parents?

The pace is gentle. There is one main outing a day with free afternoons, which suits older travellers and young children. Old Dubai and the mosque involve walking on flat ground, and you can slow down in the heat. The desert safari is a seated 4x4 ride with optional short walks. Nothing on this itinerary requires a hike. Tell us at enquiry if anyone has mobility limits and we will add private transfers where they help and adjust the walking days.

When is the best time to go?

November to March for comfortable weather and the full desert experience - this is Dubai's peak, with the best climate and the highest hotel rates. April and October are warmer but noticeably cheaper and still workable. June to August is very hot, often 45 degrees and above, and the desert day becomes hard going, so we steer the outdoor content differently, and the hotels are at their cheapest. We will tell you honestly what your chosen month looks like.

What happens during Ramadan?

Ramadan falls around February to March and shifts about eleven days earlier each year. Some attraction hours change, eating and drinking in public during daylight is restricted, and a few shows pause, while the city grows quieter and evenings become atmospheric with the breaking of the fast. Everything on this itinerary still runs, with adjusted timings. We flag the exact dates at enquiry so nothing surprises you, rather than leaving you to discover it on arrival.

What if an attraction is closed on our date?

If something cannot run - whether on the desert day, a mosque closure, or a maintenance day at the Frame - we reorder the itinerary or offer an alternative of similar value, and refund that portion if no alternative fits. Because the days are flexible and the mosque day is already planned around the Friday-morning closure, this rarely bites. We would always rather tell you a plan has moved than have you arrive at a locked gate.

Will our phones work - SIM and data?

Yes. You can buy a tourist SIM at Dubai airport from du or Etisalat on arrival, or set up an eSIM before you fly, and hotel and mall wifi is widespread. Data is useful for maps, the metro and ride apps on your free days. We can point you to the best-value tourist data plan for a week, and the Nol card for the metro and abra is separate and cheap.

What is the money and tipping situation?

The currency is the UAE dirham. Cards are accepted almost everywhere, including taxis and malls, so the simplest approach is a card for most things plus a small amount of cash for the souks, the one-dirham abra and tips. Tipping is appreciated but not compulsory - a few dirhams for drivers and guides, and rounding up a restaurant bill is normal. Change a little money before you fly rather than at airport counters.

Can we add Burj Khalifa or a cruise?

Yes. Burj Khalifa At The Top, a Marina or dhow cruise, Atlantis Aquaventure, The View at The Palm, Louvre Abu Dhabi, and more can all be added, and several fit the free afternoon on Day 5 or the Abu Dhabi day. Each lifts the price, and we tell you by how much before you confirm - the figure is set in your quotation, not printed on this page. Anything that includes a meal, like an evening safari or a dinner cruise, is an add-on because the base package includes no dinner.

How is this different from your other Dubai packages?

This is the land-only, culture-led one, built around the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and old Dubai at the lowest honest price. Our family and shopping packages focus on Yas Island theme parks and the newer, glossier Dubai, and usually include flights. This one keeps the big towers and parks optional, so first-timers pay less and add only the icons they actually want. If you are choosing, the question is whether you want theme parks and flights included, or the mosque, the desert and Old Dubai at the lowest land-only price.
