Tour Overview

Marina Bay's laser light show from the waterfront, Gardens by the Bay at twilight with the Supertrees glowing, and Sentosa's beach sunset together — this 4-day budget Singapore honeymoon proves that romance in Asia's finest city never had to cost a fortune.

Singapore has a reputation for being expensive — and it is, if you haven't planned it. If you have, it is one of the most reward-dense honeymoon destinations in Asia at any price point.

This 4-day budget Singapore honeymoon package is built around a specific observation: the most romantic experiences in Singapore are either free or priced far below what tourists expect. The Marina Bay waterfront at night is free. The Supertree Grove light show (Garden Rhapsody, 7:45 PM and 8:45 PM nightly) is free to watch from the OCBC Skyway viewing area below. The Chinatown hawker centre dinner — sharing plates in the evening warmth — costs SGD 15 for two complete meals. Romance in Singapore is not a function of budget. It is a function of knowing where to be.

Budget Logic: 3-night hotel in Chinatown or Little India area: SGD 90–130/night (vs. SGD 300–500+ in Marina Bay). MRT travel time from Chinatown to Marina Bay: 8 minutes. The budget is not in a worse location — it is in a more characterful neighbourhood. MRT Tourist Pass: SGD 22/day unlimited travel — eliminates all taxi costs. Total MRT budget for 4 days: SGD 44/couple (₹2,860). This is the single most important budget decision in Singapore. Marina Bay Laser Show (Spectra): free, runs nightly at 8 PM and 9 PM from the Event Plaza promenade. Best viewing: north side of the promenade, arrive 20 minutes early.

Full policy details

Cancellation Policy
  • 10 or more calendar days before departure: a 30% cancellation charge applies to the eligible package amount. Choose a 70% refund in USDC or 100% of the eligible amount as Atravelx Travel Credit.
  • Less than 10 calendar days before departure: 100% non-refundable. No refund or Travel Credit is ordinarily issued.
  • After travel commences, or no-show: non-refundable. No refund or Travel Credit is ordinarily available.
  • Days are counted as calendar days to the scheduled departure date, in UTC (Coordinated Universal Time). The timestamp on your written request fixes when Atravelx received it.
  • Cancellation requests must be made in writing through an authorised Atravelx channel: your concierge, info@atravelx.com or WhatsApp +91 92500 00511. A phone call alone does not cancel a booking until it is confirmed in writing.
  • Quote the booking reference, the lead traveller's name and the services affected. Atravelx may ask for identity or payment verification before acting on a request.
  • A reason is not needed to qualify under the 10-day window.
  • Cancelling some travellers, rooms, nights or services is a package amendment, not a cancellation. It does not qualify for the 10-day refund or credit on its own, and it can change the per-person price for the remaining travellers.
Atravelx Travel Credit
  • Travel Credit is issued as an Atravelx Credit Note for 100% of the eligible amount actually paid, denominated in USDC.
  • The 30% cancellation charge is waived when you choose Travel Credit instead of a refund.
  • Credit can be used towards any eligible service booked through Atravelx: holiday packages, stays, flights, transfers, sightseeing, car rental, visa assistance and other eligible services.
  • Travel Credit is non-cash. It cannot be withdrawn, exchanged for cryptocurrency or fiat currency, or transferred to another person, unless Atravelx agrees in writing.
  • The validity period and expiry date are stated on the Credit Note.
  • Prices at the time of the new booking apply. Travel Credit does not hold the same hotel, room, destination, dates, itinerary, supplier, activity, package or price.
  • If the new booking costs more, you pay the difference in USDC. If it costs less, the balance stays on the Credit Note under its terms.
  • Once you choose Travel Credit, the choice is final. It is not later converted into a refund.
Date Change Policy
  • Request date changes 10 or more calendar days before the scheduled departure date.
  • A date change is not guaranteed. It depends on hotel, transfer and activity availability, supplier approval, revised room rates, seasonal pricing, blackout dates, peak-season supplements, transport costs, fare differences, supplier amendment charges and revised itinerary costs.
  • If the revised package costs more, you pay the difference in USDC. Supplier amendment or date-change charges may also apply.
  • A date change is confirmed only when Atravelx confirms the revised arrangements in writing.
  • Requests made less than 10 calendar days before departure depend on supplier approval and cannot be guaranteed.
  • A postponement or date change is not a cancellation. It does not by itself create a refund or Travel Credit entitlement.
Bundled Holiday Packages
  • Atravelx holiday packages are booked and priced as bundled travel arrangements made up of several interconnected services.
  • Individual components of a confirmed package cannot ordinarily be cancelled separately.
  • Removing a service does not automatically entitle you to a proportionate refund or Travel Credit.
  • Any request to remove, replace or modify a component is treated as a package amendment, subject to supplier approval, availability, revised pricing, amounts recoverable and applicable charges.
  • A value shown against an individual service does not mean it was separately contracted or can be independently cancelled.
Visa & Travel Documentation
  • Travellers are responsible for a valid passport, the right visa, transit visas, entry permits, immigration documents, health documentation and any other paperwork required by the destination or a transit country.
  • Visa decisions are made solely by the relevant government, embassy, consulate or immigration authority. Atravelx does not guarantee approval, processing time or appointment availability.
  • A visa refusal, delay or failure to obtain a visa does not override the cancellation conditions unless Atravelx confirms otherwise in writing.
  • Government, embassy, visa application centre, biometric, courier and processing fees may be non-refundable once paid or submitted.
Refund Processing & Timeline
  • Atravelx acknowledges a cancellation request within 2 working days. Acknowledgement confirms receipt, not eligibility or amount. After reviewing the booking, Atravelx confirms in writing which services are cancelled, the refundable and non-refundable components, the deductions and the refund amount.
  • Approved refunds are processed within 45 working days from the date Atravelx confirms in writing that the refund is approved.
  • The 45 days do not run from the booking date, the date you first asked to cancel, or the departure date.
  • Working days exclude Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays in the United States and India.
  • Refunds are calculated and paid in USDC. The refund is the eligible package amount in USDC as shown on your invoice, less the cancellation charge and any supplier deductions.
  • If you paid in another cryptocurrency, the refund is still the USDC value of the eligible amount at the time of payment, not the number of coins you sent. Atravelx is not liable for changes in the market value of any coin between payment and refund.
  • Refunds are sent to the wallet address the payment came from, on the same network. If that is not possible, you may nominate another wallet, which Atravelx verifies in writing before sending. Atravelx is not responsible for funds sent to a wallet address you supplied incorrectly.
  • If you paid by card or bank transfer through an Atravelx payment partner, the refund goes back to that payment method where the partner supports it. Otherwise another method is agreed in writing.
  • Blockchain confirmations, payment partners, card issuers and banks may add time before the funds show in your wallet or account.
  • Where Atravelx cancels a confirmed booking for reasons within its reasonable control, all amounts received for the cancelled services are refunded in full, initiated within 7 working days. An alternative itinerary or Travel Credit may be offered, but you are not required to accept it instead of the refund.
  • An approved refund is not replaced with Travel Credit unless you expressly agree, or the supplier itself provides only a credit or voucher under conditions disclosed before booking.
Supplier-Specific & Non-Refundable Services
  • Certain services carry their own cancellation, refund or amendment terms: airline tickets, visa fees, embassy, consulate and visa-centre charges, travel insurance, rail tickets and passes, cruise and ferry bookings, event, concert, sports and attraction tickets, special-event bookings, non-refundable hotel rates, supplier deposits and any service identified as non-refundable.
  • Where supplier-specific conditions were communicated in the quotation, invoice, voucher, booking confirmation or service conditions before payment, those conditions apply to that service.
  • Blockchain network fees paid when you sent your payment are not part of the package amount and are not refundable.
No-Show, Unused & Partially Used Services
  • No refund or Travel Credit is ordinarily provided for: no-shows, cancellation after travel has commenced, voluntarily unused services, partly completed holidays, missed hotel nights, missed transfers, missed activities or sightseeing, missed trains or other transport, traveller delays, failure to report at the required time, services missed because of documentation issues, or services missed for reasons attributable to the traveller.
  • If a supplier voluntarily approves a refund in an exceptional case, Atravelx passes on the recoverable amount in USDC under the applicable supplier and booking conditions.
Booking Acceptance
  • By confirming a booking and making payment, you accept the cancellation, refund, date-change, bundled-package and Travel Credit conditions in this policy.
  • Conditions stated in writing for an individual booking (quotation, invoice, voucher or booking confirmation) supplement this policy. Where a supplier's terms are stricter and were disclosed before payment, they apply to that service.
  • A booking is governed by the version of this policy shown on the package page on the booking date, unless a later version is more favourable to you or Atravelx agrees otherwise in writing.
  • For events beyond Atravelx's reasonable control (severe weather, natural disasters, epidemics, war, civil unrest, strikes, government restrictions, border or airport closures, supplier insolvency and similar), refunds, credits, postponements or alternatives depend on the affected supplier's policy and the amounts recoverable. Atravelx helps coordinate with the suppliers.
  • Nothing in this policy restricts any statutory right available to a consumer under applicable law.

Frequently asked questions

Is Singapore expensive for a honeymoon on a budget?
Singapore is expensive if you eat at hotel restaurants, take taxis everywhere, and buy attraction tickets at the gate. It is very manageable on a budget if you: (1) use the MRT exclusively (SGD 22/day Tourist Pass, unlimited), (2) eat at hawker centres (SGD 5–8/dish, world-class quality — Singapore's hawker culture is UNESCO-recognized Intangible Cultural Heritage), and (3) choose a hotel in Chinatown or Tanjong Pagar rather than Marina Bay. Our package is built on exactly these three decisions. Total daily spend outside the package for a couple eating hawker meals: approximately SGD 30–50 (₹1,950–3,250).
Do Indian nationals need a visa for Singapore?
Yes — Indian passport holders require a Singapore tourist visa. The good news: Singapore offers a free 30-day electronic visitor visa (EVC — Electronic Visit Card) for Indian nationals who hold a valid US, UK, Australian, Canadian, or Schengen visa. If you have any of these, your Singapore entry is visa-free. If not, the Singapore tourist visa (SVP) costs approximately SGD 30 (₹1,950) and is processed in 3–5 working days through any approved Singapore Embassy travel agent. We provide the documentation checklist and approved agent list on booking.
Which is the best area to stay in Singapore for a budget honeymoon?
Chinatown and Tanjong Pagar are the correct answer — and not just for budget reasons. Chinatown has Singapore's most characterful street-level experience: shophouse hotels with traditional tile floors, hawker centres with the city's best food, and proximity to Clarke Quay, Ann Siang Hill, and Keong Saik Road (Singapore's hippest restaurant strip). MRT from Chinatown to Marina Bay Sands: 8 minutes (2 stops on the Circle or East-West Line). You are not compromising location — you are choosing character over brand.
Is the Marina Bay Sands infinity pool accessible without staying there?
No — the famous rooftop infinity pool is for hotel guests only, and rooms start at SGD 500+/night. The SkyPark Observation Deck (non-guest) costs SGD 23/person and gives access to the observation deck (not the pool). For the budget honeymoon, the waterfront view of Marina Bay Sands from the promenade — free, at night, during the Spectra laser show — is objectively more spectacular than the SkyPark view because you see the entire building and the bay simultaneously. Save the SkyPark for our Luxury package.
What is the free Spectra light show and when should we watch it?
Spectra is a 15-minute free light-and-water show projected on the Marina Bay waters, launched nightly at 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM from the Event Plaza promenade outside Marina Bay Sands. Best viewing position: stand on the north side of the Event Plaza promenade, centred on the water screen (a 60-metre-wide retractable screen rises from the bay). Arrive 20 minutes early on weekends — it fills quickly. Weeknights, arrive 10 minutes before. This show is free, runs 365 days a year, and is one of Singapore's most genuinely spectacular nightly events.
What should we eat on this budget honeymoon? Is hawker food safe?
Singapore's hawker centres are one of the world's great food systems — more than 6,000 stalls across 110+ government-managed centres, all graded A–C by the National Environment Agency (NEA). We recommend only Grade A stalls in our curated map. The specific stall recommendation for a romantic hawker dinner: Maxwell Food Centre, Stall #18 — Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice (the most famous hawker stall in Singapore, Gordon Ramsay referenced it on television, queue 20 minutes, cost SGD 5–7 per plate). Order two plates and share. This is the most famous cheap meal in Asia and it is extraordinary.
Is the Sentosa Day Pass worth it on a budget?
Honest note on Sentosa: the island has two versions. The expensive version (Universal Studios SGD 81, S.E.A. Aquarium SGD 45, Wings of Time show SGD 23) adds up to SGD 300+ per couple for attractions. The Sentosa beach and outdoors version — which is what this budget honeymoon day delivers — is largely free or under SGD 30 for two. The beach is genuinely good (white sand, warm water, clean), the Skyline Luge (a go-kart that descends from a hilltop via a concrete luge track, extremely fun, SGD 23 for 2 rides — included in our package) is one of Sentosa's most enjoyable and best-value activities.
When is the best time of year for a Singapore honeymoon?
Singapore has a consistently tropical climate year-round — 27–33°C, with brief rain showers possible any month. There is no single 'best' season. February–April tends to be drier and slightly cooler. The Singapore Haze (smoke from Indonesian agricultural burning) occasionally affects air quality in September–October — we monitor this and advise at booking. Singapore's major festivals (Chinese New Year in January–February, Deepavali in October–November) add colour and festivity to the city without significantly disrupting tourism. There is no 'avoid' season for a Singapore honeymoon.
